A few notes about weights and hanging sash.

Weight equal to the sash weight is needed to balance the sash.

Shipping weights can be expensive.  More than 75lbs. will require freight delivery.

Be sure that you have ample room for replacement weights in the weight pocket.  If the weights are too long than you will restrict the opening of the sash.

Special tubes for 1lb weights are 16" long, and come with top and bottom caps.  This is a perfect way to encapsulate the lead for a safe installation.
